The Restoration Plot

Healing mind, body, and soul through agriculture and the Gospel

Our Story

Hi, my name is Channchi Chau. The Restoration Plot was born out of my desire to homeschool my three children in a vibrant garden setting—a place where they can learn practical skills, practice Biblical stewardship, and build characters fitted for heaven above and a life of love and service here below.

Our Foundation

For years, I have explored the restorative power of nature's simple remedies: healthy food, sunshine, exercise, water, temperance, fresh air, rest, and trust in God. I have witnessed the profound impact these principles have had on my own health and the health of those I’ve shared this good news with.

Our Mission

At The Restoration Plot, we seek to restore the physical, mental, and spiritual health of our community through a garden grounded in nutrient density, true education, and active involvement.

Our Method

We actively partner with local volunteer groups, gardening collectives, and non-profit organizations dedicated to addressing food insecurity, poverty, and public health. These partnerships create synergy in our missions and foster a stronger, more unified community.

We provide the people, resources, and unwavering commitment necessary to establish and operate a thriving community garden. We offer our neighbors more than just the bounty of the harvest; we provide the therapeutic benefits of working in the soil. To facilitate this, we have established a Work-Share Model: for every hour you contribute to the garden, you take home a basket of fresh, nutrient-dense produce. Any surplus from our harvest is donated directly to our community partners to support their work in battling poverty and food insecurity.

Join Us

We invite you to join us in this work. Whether you are looking to learn sustainable, regenerative skills, provide high-quality nutrition for your family, or simply find a place of fellowship and rest, there is a place for you at The Restoration Plot.
